| --------- Documentary UPDATE REPORT----------------------
It is my understanding that the VHS tapes have been completed and will be
shipped to the 11th ACVVC early next week on or about Jan 6 and the DVD's
will be shipped later in the week. It would be strictly a wild guess that
those who ordered VHS should receive the VHS about Jan 15th with the DVD
orders arriving several days later. Those who ordered both DVD and VHS
will get them combined in one box to the same address on the DVD arrival
schedule.
Blackhorse Documentary Delivery Hit by Weather Delay (Posted 12 Dec 02)
I am saddened to inform you that the Blackhorse Documentary may not make it for
Christmas. Winter storms which drove across the Southeast and knocked out power
to millions of homes and businesses just happened to shut down the company which
was manufacturing the DVD's and VHS videos. This is only a temporary delay
and I can assure you that the QM has diligently prepared for the expeditious
shipment of your orders just as soon as they arrive at their location. They
already have the boxes addressed and ready to ship the same day they are
received.
The production company worked right up to the deadline to get the documentary
the way you would want it,…. done right …and then delivered the
Master Copy to the manufacturer. Circumstances beyond our control struck and all
I can do is tell you that the 11thACVVC and Blackhorse Productions are staying
on top of this 24/7 with all kinds of planning and contingency efforts to get
the film to you as quickly as possible. Even if we have to ship them as they come
off the assembly line. So if you have questions or concerns please check
the main page of our website for the latest details. Please do not contact the
Quartermaster as he has no idea about the production delivery. Direct your
inquiries to Armor11acr@aol.com with the subject line, "Blackhorse
Documentary" so I know it is not junk mail.
We will post a full color certificate for you to print and insert into a gift
card for the person you wanted to give the Blackhorse Documentary to, ( Click

I must report that I have viewed the finished product and it is worth the wait.
The film depicts the highest standards of our troopers. It brings to light the
valor and heroic actions of our combat medics in their quest to take care of the
wounded while exposing themselves to deadly fire. Our Medal of Honor recipients
were well represented and honored. I believe this film is destined to be aired
on National television in the near future and may turn into a feature length
movie or television series. There are historical facts presented that you have
never seen on any other film that will make the public reconsider how they
viewed the Vietnam War.
