From The Regimental Commander

Fellow BLACKHORSE Troopers,

This is my final report to you.  Attached you will find an article by LT
Jeremy Dobos describing the BLACKHORSE reunion held 11-14 May 2000 in
Fulda, Germany.  It was an absolutely superb event.      Discussion has
already begun on the prospects for the next reunion of the Border Legion,
perhaps as early as 2003.  This will be a major topic of discussion next
summer at the Regiment's 100th Anniversary reunion to be held here in
Washington, DC.

To all who helped organize and produce this year's event, let me extend
the thanks of the Reunion Planning Committee and its chairman MG Bob
Sunell, USA, Ret.  We really couldn't have done it without you.  And to
all who attended, it was great seeing you and reliving memories of service
with the "best damn regiment that you will ever see!"
