All Blackhorse Troopers, family, and friends are invited to participate in the annual Veterans Day wreath laying at the Wall.  We will initially gather near the statue of the Three Soldiers, say a few words, and then informally carry the wreath to the apex of the Wall.  Please forward this e-mail to anyone not on the list who might be interested in participating. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund will commemorate the 20th Anniversary of The Wall with a series of special events and activities from November 6-11, 2002.
Reading of the Names
For just the third time since The Wall's dedication in 1982, the more than 58,000 names of those men and women inscribed on the black granite memorial will be read aloud in Washington, D.C. The Reading of the Names first occurred in November 1982 during the Memorial's dedication activities and took place again in November 1992 during the 10th Anniversary events. Throughout the Reading of the Names, Honor Guards will be posted by the half-hour at the apex of The Wall.

Vietnam Veterans of America Sponsors A March To Remember
     On Veterans Day, Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc. will be holding a march down Constitution Avenue towards the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. All those who served are welcome to meet at 7th and Constitution at 8 a.m. For more information, visit VVA's Web site.
