For all you old tankers out there this is a very interesting web site of a
World War II (the big one) vet and retired engineer who is making a 1/8th
scale model of a Sheridan that was in A Troop, 1/11th Cav in Vietnam in 1970.
I met this guy on the internet and later went to visit him at his house just
south of Tucson.
Howard is a very interesting guy and has some great WWII stories. He made
this Sheridan from scratch in his well-equipped shop. Click on the pictures
to see the enlarged versions and you will be amazed at the detail he has put
into this vehicle.
I met him at Fort Irwin, California, in January of 2002 where he and I got
the royal treatment at the 11th Cav Museum. I took those three pictures of
Howard and his Sheridan in the museum parking lot.
