Blackhorse Centennial Commemoration at Fort Myer

For those Blackhorse Troopers not going to the reunion in Las Vegas, there
will be a ceremony on Friday, 2 February at Fort Myer, Virginia (where the
Regiment was originally formed on 2 February 1901).  The Centennial
Commemoration Ceremony will take place in Comny Hall (once called Bruckner
Hall), located across from the old movie theater and parade grounds,
catty-corner from the Officers Club.  When you get to the MP checkpoint at
the Fort Myer gate, tell them you are going to the Blackhorse Ceremony at
Comny Hall.

The sequence of events is as follows:

being coordinated) and then lunch at the Officers Club.  During the lunch,
we will show two videos of the Regiment's history.

Please pass this message on to any Blackhorse Trooper from any era who might
be interested in attending the Fort Myer ceremony.

Allons!
