Dear Paula and family,

I am sending my condolence with my love and respect of this good and honorable man.

The 11th Cavalry Troopers about 40 + years ago and far from home in the jungles of Vietnam & Cambodia we took great care of one another so we could make it home to our mothers, fathers, wives, sisters, brothers and other loved-ones.----------------- --> Now once again we must say our goodbyes and continue to take our strides for the time will come our journey will be done and forever together with all of our loved-ones.

“ May the Blessing from on High be with you and your family”.

With great heartfelt sympathy,

Chairman of Funeral Honor Guard of the 11th Cavalry Regiment Veterans Troopers of Vietnam and Cambodia.

My condolences on your loss.

Wish I could attend visitation and the service to meet you, but I am starting a new job and that is my first day of training and I can't miss it.

I was in Howitzer Battery,2nd Squadron of 11th ACR in Viet Nam and Cambodia from 1969 to 1970, where I was Section Chief of Fire Direction.

I do not recall your deceased, but I believe I have met a couple of other 11th ACR Veterans of Viet Nam in Columbia.

I do not know if they were permanent residents or were at Ft. Jackson or the VA Hospital.

If I can help in anyway, with the VA etc, let me know.

Paula:

My condolences to you on the loss of your husband.

I served with the 11 ACR in Vietnam in 1971 and 1972. My wife Janice and I live in Columbia, SC.

Please know that even though I will not be able to attend your husbands funeral, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Respectfully,

Mike Bliss
