Dear Jean and family,

I am sending my condolence with my love and respect of this good and honorable man.

The 11th Cavalry Troopers about 40 + years ago and far from home in the jungles of Vietnam & Cambodia we took great care of one another so we could make it home to our mothers, fathers, wives, sisters, brothers and other loved-ones.----------------- --> Now once again we must say our goodbyes and continue to take our strides for the time will come our journey will be done and forever together with all of our loved-ones.

“ May the Blessing from on High be with you and your family”.

With great heartfelt sympathy,

I want to extend my condolences to Jean and family of Captain Baily.

I first met Captain Baily when I returned from a year in Korea in January 1966.

I was assigned to A Troop and it was a privilege to serve under his command.

John was a true professional.
A great leader in battle, a solid family man.

From those of us whom you led through a tough year in Vietnam, sleep soundly in Fiddler's Green.
