I am sending my condolence with my love and respect of this good and honorable man.
The 11th Cavalry Troopers about 40 + years ago and far from home in the jungles of Vietnam & Cambodia we took great care of one another so we could make it home to our mothers, fathers, wives, sisters, brothers and other loved-ones.----------------- --> Now once again we must say our goodbyes and continue to take our strides for the time will come our journey will be done and forever together with all of our loved-ones.

I just want to send along my condolences to Bob's family.
I didn't have the pleasure of personally knowing a fellow trooper from the Big Sky country back in the day.....but wish I had.
Most of us only really knew a few others.
There was always a special bond that developed between troopers who came from small communities in the wide open spaces. And a real sense of loss upon parting.
May he rest in peace in the big skies.

Bob and I served side by side.
( I was his driver on G - 25 ) while in Vietnam.
We stayed in contact over the years and enjoyed many 11th Cavalry Reunions and personal visits together.
I will miss him a lot. He was a great friend. I will always remember his many tales, some of which were true.
