VETERANS' MEDICAL INFORMATION
For those who have served in Vietnam, the following is an excerpt from the USAF Alumni Report:
Prostrate Cancer and Service in Vietnam:  The US Dept. of Veterans' Affairs has recently made an important decision and announcement concerning prostrate cancer.  If a military member served anywhere in Vietnam, all prostrate cancer is now considered service connected.  If the service member dies from prostrate cancer, the spouse is entitled to dependency and indemnity compensation from the Dept. of Veterans' Affairs.  If you have or had prostrate cancer and served in Vietnam, you are entitled to service connected disability. All claims and inquires should be made at your nearest VA office.
